Wajo Fo is an AI agent that calls, emails and books for you, with human help when needed. See if Fo is free, what OG Fo and Pro include and how it works.

Developed by Wajo, a San Francisco startup founded by Shivani Poddar, who previously led engineering work at Google DeepMind, Fo is a personal action agent. Instead of only answering questions, Fo takes on errands: booking appointments, ordering food, rebooking flights and chasing people by phone or email.

What is Fo by Wajo and why is it trending?

Wajo first unveiled Fo on August 25, 2026, describing agents that come with their own inbox, phone number, voice and payment card. The big moment came on September 28, 2026, when Poddar’s launch post on X pitched Fo as personal AI “augmented by humans”: when the AI gets stuck, Fo hands the task to trained executive assistants. That post passed 2.9 million views, according to Launch Archive.

Two days earlier, Wajo published a trust and task-completion study (September 26, 2026). In Wajo’s own simulated tests, Fo finished 71% of errands entirely on its own, against 42% for the open-source assistant OpenClaw and 50% to 64% for base models, and kept the user’s trust on 94% of trap runs. Wajo notes that the businesses and people in the test were invented, so these are lab results, not real-world rates.

How Fo works

  1. Tell Fo the task: for example, “Get me a haircut tomorrow afternoon” or “Send Mom flowers for her birthday.”
  2. Fo researches and acts: it searches the web, checks your email and calendar, and calls or emails businesses and people.
  3. It handles the back-and-forth: Fo can join group chats, take calls and coordinate times with other people.
  4. Humans step in when needed: if a task needs a human touch, Fo works with trained executive assistants to finish it.
  5. Fo confirms the result: you get the booking, order or update once it’s done.

On privacy, Wajo says Fo pays with a single-use card for each purchase, emails from its own address instead of yours, and signs in to websites without seeing or storing your password. Wajo also says it doesn’t use your data to train third-party AI models.

Is Wajo Fo worth it? Since Fo Mini costs nothing, the only real cost is the access you give it. Start with low-risk errands such as appointments or restaurant research before you let Fo pay for things.

Best use cases for Fo

  • Scheduling: booking a dentist, a haircut or a meeting time with a friend.
  • Life admin: renewing a permit, cancelling a subscription that needs a phone call, or chasing a refund.
  • Travel changes: checking a delayed flight and rebooking a better option.
  • Gifting and group orders: sending flowers or ordering lunch for a group.

Limitations

  • No public paid prices: Pro is contact-only, and OG Fo needs an invite.
  • You hand over a lot of access: Fo works best with your email, calendar and payment details.
  • Lab-only benchmarks: Wajo’s 71% completion figure comes from its own simulated tests.
  • Humans may see your task: tasks escalated to human assistants are handled by people, not just AI.
  • Young product: Fo launched publicly in August 2026, so expect changes.

TechPilot.ai’s Verdict on Wajo Fo

Fo is one of the more practical personal AI agents of 2026: it actually calls, books and pays, and it brings in humans when the AI isn’t enough. The free Fo Mini plan makes it easy to try.

The trade-off is access. Fo works best when it can see your email and calendar and pay on your behalf, and its strongest results so far come from Wajo’s own lab tests. Start with simple errands, watch how it handles them, and expand from there.
