AI Apply (AIApply) tailors your resume, writes cover letters and auto-applies to jobs. It has a free tier, but Premium and Auto-Apply credits cost extra.

Quick answer: AIApply is an AI job search assistant. It finds matching roles, rewrites your resume and cover letter for each one, can submit applications for you with Auto-Apply, and coaches you during interviews with Interview Buddy. You can start on a free account, but the full toolkit needs a Premium subscription, and Auto-Apply is paid separately in credit packs. AIApply doesn’t publish its prices on a public page; you see them inside your dashboard after signing up. We checked the AIApply website and its FAQ on November 1, 2026.

What AI Apply does

  • Auto-Apply: set your role, location and salary, and it finds listings, tailors your documents and submits applications. You can review drafts before they go out.
  • AI Resume Builder: builds or rewrites an ATS-friendly resume for each job description. You can start from scratch, upload a PDF or Word file, or import LinkedIn.
  • AI Cover Letter: writes a letter matched to each posting.
  • Interview practice and Interview Buddy: mock interviews with feedback, plus live suggested answers during a real interview.
  • Job board: AIApply says it lists 20M+ jobs pulled from thousands of sources.
  • Extras: resume scanner, resume translator and 40+ free tools such as a resume ATS checker and a follow-up email generator.

If you only need a better resume, compare it with the options in our AI resume builders guide.

Is AI Apply free?

Partly. A free account lets you try the core tools, such as generating a sample cover letter or browsing the job board. There’s no timed free trial; AIApply gives you a limited free tier instead. Unlimited AI writing, advanced templates, Auto-Apply and Interview Buddy need a paid upgrade. The standalone free tools (ATS checker, resume optimizer, follow-up email generator) work without paying.

Two things matter for your budget. First, Auto-Apply is the only add-on; everything else sits inside Premium. Second, subscriptions renew automatically, so cancel in your account settings if you stop job hunting. AIApply says it handles refunds case by case and sometimes offers prorated refunds or credits. Annual billing is discounted, but a job search is usually short, so monthly is often the safer pick.

Who it’s for

AIApply makes the most sense if you’re applying to many similar roles and the bottleneck is volume: tailoring documents and filling in forms. It’s less useful for a handful of senior or niche roles where a personal note and a referral matter more. Our guide to AI and automation in the job search covers when automation helps and when it hurts.

Risks and limitations

  • Quality vs volume: mass applications can reach jobs that aren’t a real fit. Use the review step before anything is sent.
  • Check every fact: AI rewrites can overstate skills. Make sure your resume stays accurate.
  • Live interview help: some employers forbid outside help during interviews. Check the rules before using Interview Buddy in a real one.
  • No public prices: you only see the cost after creating an account.
  • Auto-renewal: cancel the subscription when your search ends.
