Pickle AI is an iPhone app where you raise your own AI agent that books, orders and pays for you. See Pickle Plus pricing, who can use it and the limits.
Personal agents usually live in a chat box. Pickle turns yours into a small creature that starts at level 1, grows as you talk to it and floats above a map of your city next to everyone else’s Pickles. Under the cute shell it’s an agent with its own computer that can do real tasks, always after asking you.
What is Pickle AI and why is it new?
Pickle: Raise your AI comes from Pickle, Inc., a Y Combinator company from the Winter 2025 batch that earlier worked on memory-based AI and AR glasses. The iPhone app’s first version appeared on the App Store in August 2026, and Pickle’s public launch post went out on October 1, 2026, drawing hundreds of thousands of views on X.
What makes it different from other personal AI agents is the social layer. Your Pickle meets other people’s Pickles, can talk to your friends’ Pickles to make plans, and brings back introductions, events and listings from people nearby. According to the App Store listing, it’s open to everyone in the San Francisco Bay Area for now.
How Pickle works
- Download the app on an iPhone with iOS 17 or later and create your Pickle. Every Pickle is born at Lv. 1.
- Talk to it by chat or voice about your day, your plans and your favorites. Time together turns into bubbles that you feed it to keep its energy up.
- Ask for tasks: it can order, book, pay and research on its own computer, and checks with you before anything is spent.
- Let it roam: your Pickle drifts over your city’s map, meets nearby Pickles and brings back people, events or items that fit you.
- Control what it shares: set how much it can say about you, for everyone or for one person. Pickle says health, finance and exact location data are never shared.
Pickle Pricing (2026)
Pickle is free to download, with an optional Pickle Plus subscription. We checked the US App Store listing on October 8, 2026. Pickle doesn’t have a pricing page on pickle.com.
| Plan | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Pickle (free) | $0 | Free download on iPhone; Bay Area only for now |
| Pickle Plus (Monthly) | $8.99 a month | In-app purchase listed on the US App Store |
| Pickle Plus (Yearly) | $59.99 a year | About $5 a month; the listing shows no other plans |
Pickle doesn’t say on the listing what Plus adds over the free app, and it doesn’t publish usage limits. Task purchases, like a food order or a booking, are paid separately, and Pickle asks for your approval before it spends anything.
Is it worth it? If you live in the Bay Area, the free app is the way to try it. Only pay for the yearly plan once you know you’ll use it every week, since it’s roughly half the cost of 12 monthly payments.

- Local buying and selling: post items or events and let it watch for things that fit you.

- OpenAI Dots: OpenAI’s always-on agents for paid ChatGPT plans.
TechPilot.ai’s Verdict on Pickle
Pickle wraps a capable personal agent in a game-like shell: you raise it, it learns your routine and it can book, order and pay with your approval. The social layer, where Pickles meet and plan with each other, is what sets it apart.
It’s limited to the Bay Area and iPhone for now, and Pickle Plus perks aren’t spelled out. If you’re local, the free app is an easy way to see whether a social agent fits your life.
